Fire Fox 4 - still no working plugin!?

LogMeIn,

Where is the FF4 plugin that is compatible with proxy servers? You know, those things that we use in so many enterprise environments?

FF5 is already in BETA!

I don't need tips on how to use other browsers or platforms. I need this platform fixed. It's been *months*. Do you need to hire a developer? I can make recommendations.

What is the ETA on a *working* firefox 4 plugin?

thanks,

matt

Hi Matt,

I'm sorry but we have no timeline to give you for when Firefox 4 will work with LogMeIn behind a proxy. As soon as we hear any news, we will post it here.

Re: Fire Fox 4 - still no working plugin!?

thanks, Kenneth.

Why isn't this a priority for LMI product development? Does manager realize how absurd this situation is?

We are going to switch products if this isn't resolved.

thanks,

matt

Re: Fire Fox 4 - still no working plugin!?

Hi,

This latest plugin release was to make it compatible with Firefox 5.

Our development team is working on the proxy issue but as of yet it has not been resolved. I don't have any other information to pass along today, but be assured that as soon as I do I will post.

Thank you

Re: Fire Fox 4 - still no working plugin!?

ken,

so are you saying the plugin works w/ FF 5 while behind a proxy, but not FF 4 when behind a proxy?

or are you saying neither work when behind a proxy?

also,

why cant the development team look at the code for FF 3 and implement the proxy technique used there?
