Getting
Started in the LogMeIn Community
Registration for First-Time Visitors:
If you have
an existing LogMeIn account:
Click 'Register' (it's in the blue bar at the top of this screen)
Log in using
your LogMeIn account user name and password ** (see below) **
Create a screen name that will appear next to your posts on the discussion boards
Start
posting
If you do
not have a LogMeIn account:
Click 'Register' (it's in the blue bar at the top of this screen)
Click 'New
User? Create an Account'
Select a
LogMeIn product and click 'Sign up' or 'Free Trial'
Once you
complete registration, navigate back to the Community and follow the steps outlined for existing
LogMeIn accounts above.
Sign-in for Returning Visitors
Click 'Sign
In' (in the blue bar)
Enter your
LogMeIn user name and password
Start
posting
** If you
frequently visited the LogMeIn User Forums, your valuable posts have also moved
over to the new Community. Register using the same LogMeIn account that
you used on the old Forums, but please note that your registration will be CASE SENSETIVE. Be sure that you use the same capitalization here that you used on the forums. Then, your new screen name will be assigned to all of
your previous messages. We encourage you to continue your great conversations
in the new Community.
Subscribing
to Boards
If you would
like to receive notification whenever a post is made to a particular board, you
can subscribe to any board which interests you. You can find this under 'Board
Options' and in the 'My Profile' section.
Profile
Management
Check out
the Profile Management section (click on 'My Profile') and customize your
Community experience to suit your needs. Choose an avatar, complete your
profile, subscribe to boards, select your view, and much more.
Earning Rewards
and Ranks
Those who
contribute consistently with quality discussion, information and responses will
be given rewards and earn higher ranks. The LogMeIn Community is always looking
to learn more, share best practices, get practical tips and get user-to-user
support from the official LogMeIn experts – the users!
