Can't remove LogMeIn

Hello all,

I had a problem with my LogMeIn on my PC and now it's telling me I already have a version on my system that I have to remove thru Add/Remove Programs. When I try it gives me the same message. How can I remove the program so I can reinstall it?

RE: Can't remove LogMeIn

Hit + R, and type 'regedit'
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Classes > Installer > Products, find a folder in there beginning with B5.
If it is the only one, delete it.  If not, check the right hand pane for a value of 'LogMeIn' and delete it.
Download the Command Line Installer here, and extract it to 'c:\lmi'
hit + R again, and type 'cmd'
Type 'cd c:\lmi\x86'
Type 'logmein uninstall'
Now Type 'logmein install'
Then follow the instructions on the little box in the bottom right, when it pops up.

Gidday!
I managed to follow your instructions as far as:
Download the Command Line Installer here, and extract it to 'c:\lmi'

What is the Command Line Installer?

RE: Can't remove LogMeIn

When you open up the 'program' cmd, it is referred to the Command Prompt.  The install method above, is used in the Command Prompt, it is referred to as a Command Line Installer.

The command-line installer can be found here:

https://secure.logmein.com/logmein.zip

Extract the zip file to c:\lmi, and follow the above directions.
