Mac: LogMeIn on Leopard

Have LogMeIn working on Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard. My only issue is the autoupdating - once it starts looking for an update, I get the 'The LogMeIn Update is being downloaded onto your computer' about 15 or 20 times - I have to keep clicking OK.

Is this a known issue?

RE: Mac: LogMeIn on Leopard

No clue if that is a known bug but there are also applications using the Sparkle framework to update that sometimes have the same problem...

I have found a bug or two though when it comes to Leopard:
from LogMeIn > stderr.log

Generating a 1024 bit RSA private key

..++++++
unable to write 'random state'
writing new private key to '/tmp/RAR930b.tmp'

You are about to be asked to enter information that will be incorporated
into your certificate request.
What you are about to enter is what is called a Distinguished Name or a DN.
There are quite a few fields but you can leave some blank
For some fields there will be a default value,
If you enter '.', the field will be left blank.

countryName []:US
commonName []:LogMeIn Inc.

SessionCommunicationThread - SessionAgent was closed unexpectedly

And there's a second bug, you can not disable the LogMeIn service. Whenever I click Disable LogMeIn it just doesn't get disabled

So basically, it works, it's usable but there are a few things that need straitening out.

RE: Mac: LogMeIn on Leopard

There has just been an update to LogMeIn for Mac, unfortunately it doesn't solve the issues I described

Re: RE: Mac: LogMeIn on Leopard

I know everyone hates "me too" posts but I am getting this error as well and it appeared on two different Leopard 10.5.7 or 8 macs.
We unfortunately live behind a Microsoft ISA Proxy Server which blocks all ports except 80 for web traffic.
My suspicions are that it has something to do with that as usual.

Re: LogMeIn on Leopard

Ahha. The AutoUpdater is trying to reach http://logmeincdn.http.internapcdn.net/logmeincdn/LMIOSX400994nh/ which it can't do because it needs https and the packets are probably malformed- much like Adobe's Updater and Apple's for WebDAV/iDisk.
Of course, I forgot to check the logs
