SONIC WALL ISSUES

I AM TRYING TO CONNECT TO MY WORK PC WHICH IS BEHIND A TZ170 SONIC WALL . THE SCREEN PULLS UP BUT FREEZES . I INSTALLED LMI FREE ON A COWORKERS PC AND IT DOES THE SAME .

I CAN CONTROL MY HOME PC FROM MY WORK PC , SO I AM THINKING THE SONIC WALL IS SHUTTING DOWN THE CONNECTION IN . ANY THOUGHTS ??

RE: SONIC WALL ISSUES

Are you double-NATted?

i.e., behind multiple routing devices?

RE: SONIC WALL ISSUES

i have two routers daisey chained together , i was on the second router .
i pulled my cat5 and plugged into the first router (sonic wall also connected to this one)

i'll give it a try tonight and post the results tomorrow .

RE: SONIC WALL ISSUES

You could also configure one of the routers as just a bridge, which will remove the double-NAT.

RE: SONIC WALL ISSUES

i tried logging in last night , i got in but was still real slow ( faster than before )

i have a second store which is connected via a vpn tunnel , i used lmi from home to access a computer there and then used windows rdc on that pc to connect to my work pc . it worked !

the sonic wall at the other store is an older tele3 model with less security , so i beleive i am sneaking in the "back door"
so i just need to create a rule in my tz170 to allow the lmi in , i think ?

either way atleast i have a way in now . thanks for the help

RE: SONIC WALL ISSUES

I'm hjaving the same problem with my sonic wall.  I don't have a "back door" way in and am trying to get this resolved.  Did you figure out the ports to unblock?
