Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

Same issue  - trying to remote access iMac following OSX Lion install.

Client seems to hang while authenticating - after SSL Cert issue.

Same issue happens on both OS X Lion client and Snow Leopard client. HELP!!!

Same thing happens to me as well. The target is an iMac, running 10.7.3.

Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

I had this issue when connecting to my macbook pro and I got around it with a trick.  First reboot - from reboot options in logmein prefs.  Then I was able to connect and see the log in prompt.  Then type your password - press enter - and immediately disconnect logmein.  Wait a minute and then connect again.  You should be able to connect.  Really strange how this works but it seems to get stuck in some state if you are connected while it's logging in.  Hope this helps.

This worked for me as described. Thanks for the workaround.

Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

The quick-disconnect procedure did not work for me. I'm 100% dead in the water and a FURIOUS client. LMI is making me look incompetent.

Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

Sorry to wake up and old thread but after searchng Quite a Bit I can not find solution to fix this exact problem.

LMI freezes on any version of OSX 10.7 after few seconds of usage and after subsequent logins I get just a blank, white screen.

Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

has anyone found a fix?  Mine does this on two pc's, works for a few minutes and then the remote seems to lock up.  I have all energy savings, sleep, screen saver off completely, no help

Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

I am chatting with LMI support but they do not seem to grasp what the problem is. This is the last reply and I have no idea what to do with it. ActiveX on OS X client seems funky.

Thank you for your response. It would appear that you have the plugin installed, but java will allow you to view the remote computer screen. However there are small differences in the java view in comparison to the Active X view. Please try the reinstall of the plugin, and try the remote session again.

Re: Blank screen remoting OS X Lion 10.7

Hello All,

Welcome to the LogMeIn community.

A common solution to this issue is to restart LogMeIn on the host Mac. You can do that through LogMeIn by clicking Preferences on the left side of the page once you connect to the computer. You will then choose Advanced Settings > Reboot Options. Click the option to Reboot LogMeIn.

After about 15-30 seconds you should be able to connect again. If you still only receive a black screen after restarting LogMeIn, it would be best to contact us
