I have a Vista user that is using LMI to access an XP box. The user can't seem to copy and paste back and forth(both ways). I have XP and remote into the same box and I can cut and paste just fine. Anyone know how I can fix this?
Make sure they are actually taking their time. Most of the calls we get about cannot copy/paste is the user using the CTRL C/V keys too quickly for the command to register through their connection. Beyond that, contact the support team for assistance.

I can confirm the issue. Clipboard sync doesn't work at all [18.104.22.168] - been using ff plugin, before that IE [I was kinda forced to do that by company I work for] in any case both worked fine. Either Java script is responding so slow or there is an issue with this [friends have same problem]
Remote machines are Win7 and XP's and work on XP, Vista and Win7
I've found quite a few clipboard problems across LogMeIn's suite of products. We use LogMeIn to connect to quite a few customers.
While we've got alot of customers on LogMeIn Free (As they don't want to pay their customers for RDP setup) We do pay alot of money toward LogMeIn Rescue.
Copy and paste is the most basic of things to expect to work, I'm currently in position whereby I'm going to have to type out an entire SQL query I've formatted locally on a clients computer. This will take some time, and the Sync clipboard option doesn't work either way.
I've tested this with short pieces of text (15 bytes) and both myself and the customer are on decent connections (customer can get 300kbps download from our locally hosted servers).
I'm running this on a Windows 7 computer, through firefox, with UAC disabled (before installation of the plugin).
This is very very very poor, and has been going on since I started using log me in about two years ago!
Perhaps we'll have to look into other soloutions for both connecting to clients, and on demand connections.
This feature is broken, just doesn't work properly. I copy, wait for a long time - 5 to 20 minutes - and still there's nothing to paste. I does sometimes work from remote (XP netbook) to server (Win7) but never from server to remote which is what I actually need.
