Do not like new version... bad very bad

The new version is hard to navigate, I can't group computers anymore making it hard to sort locations.  The old interface was much better, cleaner and allowed more options... give me the old interface back....

I have to agree, for some of us in the satellite community, the new program seems much slower. I sit here thinking - there went another good program. Please give us the working program back!! I 2nd the post.

You can use groups using LMI Central

It's only been a week or so. I'm going to wait and see what LMI is trying to do.

Re: Do not like new version... bad very bad

I refuse to pay for something that was in LMI free before... just on principle.  I don't like having just got used to the feature, then having it taken away and moved into something i have to pay for...  Plus the old look was much better, cleaner, and more functional for us free users... even before i started using groups.   It is like they tease you with the goodies then take them away... akin to the cheap carnival operators.  Now they take away the groups and give us crappy looking big huge buttons that cause us to have to scroll up and down the page just to click on a remote session....

I'm checking into Dameware.... at least they seem to be honest without the trickery...

They took not only groups... I can't find a way to add new secondary user anymore. How about that?

reboot

Lack of several ways to restart such as Safe Mode, it was very useful for making anti virus scans

I have to agree that I dislike the removal of groups from the free product, even though the machines added before the change still carry their group id. The change to GUI is nice, the tweaks to the remote control are a definite plus. I have not noticed the changes to the secondary users, but I have not had a reason to use them in awhile.

I have used LogMeIn since 05 and this is the first time you have taken features away from free accounts.

I really dislike the removal of groups. It is very difficult to find which machine I want from a cluttered list.

The removal of secondary accounts is very troubling. I have several friends computers on my list some of which also use LogMeIn via a secondary account. So now they have to pick between getting help when needed or accessing there own computer freely.

And is it really necasary to hound me every time I logon to try Central? You don't really say what happens when the central trial expires.

Also you neglected to add the word LogMeIn to your forums spellchecker.

Not sure what you're missing. I can add secondary users and add groups to my free account. You have to look around for the place to click is all. they didn't take anything away and if fact, it is easier to use in many ways.  Look around at what is there.
