Re: Do not like new version... bad very bad

Nag...Nag...Nag!

How often must we look at that blasted new screen that prevents you from immediately seeing your computers?

We get the point...you want to sell us something else...there are advantages to the paid program...blah, blah, blah.

If you think for one moment that being forced to look at these messages while frantically looking for where to click to find the computer that used to be immediately visible, you're wrong.  This update has seriously reduced my inclination to ever recommend that my boss buy the commercial version for our office.

Nag #1  > The Speed = Please say that you are doing something about getting us back to the speed of old! I know this concern, is an issue for many users out there! There are many of us, that don't have the benefit of Cable and DSL ISP service. The old system was really very workable, even when both computers were on different satellite services!

Nag #2  > Having to see the Central purchase page every time you log in, please just put My Computers first, I think people are going to avoid the $ option the more they have to look at the thing.

Nag #3  > You have to disable the plug-in before logging in, when I want the benefit of Quick Links. I don't see any other way to lock/unlock the keyboard/mouse of the other computer for example.

The speed issue is the biggest thing for me - please put some zip back in it!

Re: reboot

This is still available, just not obvious...

Go to preference-advanced options there is a button under reboot options to 'view reboot options'...

Re: Do not like new version... bad very bad

Bring back the groups and secondary users to free accounts, Why should we pay for something that used to be free? Good way to lose half if not majority of the LMI users. This is bull**bleep**, LMI Central sucks. Good for the paying users. Why pay $300 yr for something I dont use on a regular basis??

BRING BACK THE GROUPS and the ability to ADD SECONDARY USERS again to the FREE account holders.

Where is the place in Free and Pro to add secondary users?

Re: Do not like new version... bad very bad

I have paid for central reluctantly as it is worse than before as so many have found..The only real bonus is being able to get a link for installing users.

My person main gripe is I used to be able to right click a computer and open in new Tab...very hand and I could have multiple computers open at the same time. Now I have to open a new Tab and go to logmein.com again etc....

Use the middle-mouse button, which is most browsers' standard "Open in New Tab" shortcut.

That is hillarious! A board full of compaints and opinions on features that should or shouldn't be in a free product and the only feedback from LMI is to use the middle button on the mouse to open in a new browser window! Way to show what the priority for LMI is!

Re: Do not like new version... bad very bad

What do you expect them to do? Reply with "live with it, we are here for the money, we turned some features off from free version so more people will buy our product and we are not turning them back on."?

They replied to the one "problem" reported that's actually got a solution other than "live with it or pay for it".
