Firefox 4, LogMeIn not working

Hello Members
I'm using a Macbook (intel) MacOS X SL v 10.6.3, and installed the latest Firefox version 4.

I wanted to use my LogMeIn free account to go onto my sisters Windows Vista pc, when i first signed into my LogMeIn account i was asked to install the Mac LogMeIn Plug-in, which i did, then when trying to LogMeIn onto the PC again, it then said i needed to allow Firefox to run a '32bit graphics Plugin' , which i did but still it doesn't work, the area that should show the remote desktop is just black.

If i disable the LogMeIn pluging, and then choose to 'skip' part where it wants to install it when logging onto the computer through the website, then you do get to see the remote desktop, but it's refresh rate is so slow and it also displays the remotes desktop background, it seems that every click you make the whole screen needs to be rebuilt.

Is anyone having these issues, or knows the solution to the problem?, any help would be great.

Kind regards
Livio

Re: Firefox 4, LogMeIn not working

Hi liviococcia,

At this time we do not have a plugin available for Firefox 4 on a Mac. You will need to connect with Safari or revert to Firefox 3.x to install the plugin. Our Development team is working hard on an updated plugin but I don't have a timeline when that will be released.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Thank you!

Re: Firefox 4, LogMeIn works in Add-On window

Strangely Logmein for Firefox for seems to work if you click on "Tools>Add-ons"  after logging on.  I get a new window that shows the remote computer.  (If you open add-ons before loggin in, it then becomes the remote window)

The problem is that closing the window closes down the firefox window (no way to go back to previoius tabs).

Very strange.

I have experienced the same.  Clicking "Tools/Add-ons" does make it work.
