I live in Austin, TX. My 88-yo mother lives in San Antonio, 90 miles south of here. She has recently begun using a PC for the first time in her life, and I need to look at her screen and change things on her PC while I'm here in Austin. She calls me at the slightest provocation, like when Solitaire acts up or when an ad appears while she's booting up. LogMeIn was suggested by a programmer friend, so I installed the Free version, since I'm only going to want to work on Mom's PC via my desktop PC. Now what do I do?
I'm going to visit her on Wednesday, June 20. Would somebody please send me some very basic instructions that I can print out and follow on her PC, or on mine here at home?
I used to be a programmer, too, but things sure have changed a lot over the past few years.
