Preferences greyed out - LogMeIn free.

Hi -

(I'm trying to enable Wake On Lan basically)

But when I go to Options, the 'Preferences' button is greyed out, as is the 'Connection and Event Details' button.

Also the LogMeIn window says at the top 'Not accessible - LogMeIn is off' - even when it's active in the taskbar, and I've checked I can connect to it from another machine.

Also, when I click the 'power' button top left of logmein to enable it, the 'Enabling LogMeIn' status window just hangs, and doesn't go away.

I've tried uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling, running as administrator, running in compatibility mode for Visat SP2.  No joy....

I'm running Windows 7 64bit all patched up to date.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Come on LMI... answer the questions being asked in your own forums!!! Whenever I have a problem, I search youre knowledge base/forums for the answer first. I'm a paying customer, but don't want to sit on hole for 20 minutes.

I've seen so many questions asked on these forums without being answered.

ok - for me it worked if I right-clicked and said "run as administrator" and enter the admin credentials. I had to do this even though the user logged in was a domain-admin.
