Yesterday I installed logmein on a friends computer and I noticed that the icon in the taskbar had a new design. Later when I went to login, I noticed that the reboot options are missing in the preferences.
Does anyone know if this functionality has also been removed from the free accounts, or am I just missing it? Computers with older installations of logmein still seem to have reboot options in the preferences as far as I can tell...
If the functionality has been removed on free accounts, does anyone know the command to do a safe boot, with networking and logmein?
The above solutions I think are leaving out an important fact on the above messages... you have to access "My Computers" from the web based logmein controls... you won't find "View Reboot Options" from Advanced Options from the installed LogMeIn software on your pc...
- Log into your web based LogMeIn account through your Internet web browser
- Go to "MY COMPUTERS"
- Locate the desired PC
- Click on the small MAIN MENU button just below the PC name.
- Locate and click on PREFERENCES
- locate / click on ADVANCED SETTINGS
- Scroll Down to REBOOT OPTIONS- click on VIEW REBOOT OPTIONS button
- Make changes as needed.
- GOOD LUCK- ENJOY!
I suggest that LogMeIn include REBOOT OPTIONS on the PC LogMeIn software!
