One thing i find fairly annoying is the time out you encounter after a certain time of inactivity, sometimes it gets handy to keep a window connection open wating for other things to happen.

The Idle Time Allowed, as we call it, is set automatically for 20 minutes by default when you install LogMeIn Free or Pro. To change this timeout, please click the link below and follow the instructions.
I found it under "Advanced Settings" then its top "Network" section. There's an "idle time allowed", which can indeed now be set to days, but you may miss it as it appears under the checkbox for "enable wake on lan". Hope that helps.
Annoyingly, the limit is 2 days. I'm trying logmein because I can't get UltraVNC to work correctly and my system runs Windows Home Premium, and I'd like to run a system without a monitor. I'm starting to think it would be worth the effort to upgrade my version of Windows so I can run Remote Desktop.
