recording cant record to a nas

i have 2 questions if you dont mind

i am trying to use session recording to record to a NAS i have set up. I created a new share & made it public but for some reason logmein wont record to it. it works to a local drive.

any ideas?

also for some reason when it does record to a local drive it makes many files per session. any way to get it to make 1 per session?

Are you trying to connect to the nas using a UNC or do you have it as a mapped drive?  Try using a mapped path.

im trying to avoid mapping the drive because that means people will know where it is recording to (its on a top level on a nas which i try to keep relitavely private)

Does your UNC have any spaces in?  Can you confirm it works if you map the drive just for testing purposes?

ok i mapped the drive & had no luck

i tested and the user DOES have the ability to read write & delete on that directory

im so confused
