upgrade to 4.1.0.1310 proxy password does not work

I recently upgraded a win XP machine to 4.1.0.1310 and now it fails to use proxy properly.

When I go into proxy settings and click test proxy, I get proxy test failed. If I then reenter the password and click test proxy, I get proxy test succeeded.

thinking I've cracked this nut, I exit clicking ok, then reenter and test proxy again. seems as if the password does not save when clicking ok.

any ideas?

note I have also upgraded a win7 machine and am experiencing same symptoms. I've also tried different username/password combinations with access thru the proxy server.

Im having the exact same problem. Was working a month or so ago, I think I may of upgraded and now it doesnt work. When I do a test proxy it says succeded, then exit out of that and back in and run the test again and it says failed.

Might try to find an older version of logmein and try that. Will let you know!

for me if was the installing on windows7 machine that confirmed the upgrade caused the issue.

Did LogMeIn support ever respond to you? I'm having this exact same problem on Windows 7.

Would love to know what the solution was. I'm running 4.1.0.2138.
