Client-owned Networks and Managed Networks

Am I correct in understanding I can no longer "import" client-created/owned networks into the "network management hub" on the LogMeIn website?

I searched but maybe my parameters were off as I found nothing.

Re: Client-owned Networks and Managed Networks

The order in which you do things matters.

You get one shot at bringing client created networks into the web based managed system.

After a client install has been brought in, any new networks that you create via that client can never be brought in... at least that is what the documentation states. There might be an unsupported hack that can do it.

See this thread where I tried in vain to convey the "order matters" principle to the OP.

Re: Client-owned Networks and Managed Networks

Oh darn it! I get what you're saying, if the client is already attached to my account, new networks created via the client cannot be imported to the account for management but if I created the network via the client then attached the client to my account the client networks would be imported.

If that's the case that sucks haha. When I installed I was logged in and the client connected, lovely.

Re: Client-owned Networks and Managed Networks

As a workaround you still have the option to remove the client from your account and re-attach again, so you have a second option to bring all your networks with you.

But keep in mind, you will be removed from the networks owned byt the web account, so you have to join again to those.

Bit painful, but at least you have a second(third...) shot.
