Failed to connect to the Hamachi Servers - Since client upgrade?

Can someone help, point me in the right direction, or tell me what I'm missing.

I have the upgraded client, but this morning when I booted up my PC I got this error when Hamachi fired up:

Failed to connect to the Hamachi Server. Would you like Hamachi to automatically monitor server availability and establish a connection as soon as it becomes possible?

So no matter what option I take it doesn't connect.

Thinking it might be with my PC I've:

-Reinstalled

-Changed the DNS servers of my PC

-Rebooted and restarted multiple times.

-Made sure "Use Proxy settings" was unchecked (as I have a direct internet connection)

-Made sure the settings for Server address were set too: std.hamachi.logmein.com 12975

But nothing works.

My server that sits next to it has a connection and shows up just fine.

So I waited until I got to work, used Logmein remote control to access my home PC and it still didn't work.

Then I got this bright idea. I'll power off my laptop that was working fine at work, one that had a working connection to the Hamachi servers, and then power it back on and see what happens.

Funny thing, now "it too" gives the same above message and it was working just fine before I did this (since I rarely turn off my laptop at work) and now it can't get back on the network with it either, and since I re-installed my client at home it wont'even pull a new IP address and sits at 0.0.0.0.  This is now two different PC's at two different sites, and now both are no longer atached to the network.

Is the network down or something?  I couldn't find any announcements saying it was but with it happening to two different PC's, having them both log off the network then can't seem to get back on.

I am also having the same problem this morning.  Does LogMeIn have a status page somewhere that might show existing problems?

Re: Failed to connect to the Hamachi Servers - Since client upgrade?

Just spoke with Hamachi support (after waiting on the line for 45 minutes).  They advised that they moved into a new Data Center and they are currently experiencing issues.

Hamachi - If you're reading this, please take into consideration that I have clients that rely on the Hamchie VPN service and they are loosing 100's of thousonds of dollars each second that this service is down.

Also, PLEASE CONSIDER POSTING A STATUS WHEN YOUR SERVICE GOES DOWN.  I spend 2.5 hours troubleshooting this issue this morning thinkings it was something on my end.  A simple status on your website, or a post in this form, or an announcemnt on my 45 minute phone call to support could have saved me some wated time on my end.

Agreed, a status posting on the main page of their website would be nice.

Re: Failed to connect to the Hamachi Servers - Since client upgrade?

Same issue at two locations.

I received a call from a friend this morning who uses Hamachi in her small business. She has not been able to get any of her systems to login to hamachi today. I checked my system and it was still online, buts just as the OP states, when I brought my system offline and then tried to reconnect I get the same error.

Failed to connect to the Hamachi Server. Would you like Hamachi to automatically monitor server availability and establish a connection as soon as it becomes possible?

Just for clarification this seems to have started with the update to 4.01.1578

I sitll have one machine that is connected, so it does seem that the issue does not arise until the updated client is shutdown and attempts connection again. The issue looks pretty widespread as only about 5% of the users on my hamachi workgroups appear to be online.

I should also note that I am running Win7 X64 and my friends work computer is running Win7x64 and Server 2003.

Here is the update log, although I do not see anything that really looks wrong with it.

Re: Failed to connect to the Hamachi Servers - Since client upgrade?

Well I think their servers are back.

I went out to reconfigure a network printer that a user was screwing around with and Hamachi was back.  I left my PC's running and they were back when I looked 10 minutes ago

I use the Free version at home, but at work we use the commercial version because we have vendors that need to look at our prodution servers because this is a production facility and no one was connected.

Logmein guys, PLEASE put up a status page.  I wouldn't have wasted like 4 hours this morning trying to figure out what was going on.  My next call was to support since I'm also a paying customer.  This would save a lot of frustration.

PLEASE consider it.

Re: Failed to connect to the Hamachi Servers - Since client upgrade?

I've been having this same problem for five days.  I've been scrambling trying to figure out what has changed on my end, but I've changed NOTHING.  It just stopped working by itself.

My story is similar to others.  I had rebooted my laptop and it had stopped working.  My desktop was still connected, though.  I decided to disconnect and try to reconnect on my desktop and sure enough, the same problem ensued.  My firewall is NOT blocking anything; my firewall is the same as when it was working.
