I've been experiencing an issue with Hamachi ever since upgrading my Mac to Lion...
I did a fresh install of Lion onto a blank drive, and then installed Hamachi (now the latest 2.1.065), and also VMware Fusion 4.0.1, and intermittently, the Hamachi daemon will prevent Lion from shutting down; will display the spinning hash marks at the white shutdown screen indefinitely.
Also, intermittently, Hamachi will cause a kernel panic on startup, mostly when booted from battery.
Has anyone else experienced this condition on their Mac's running Lion?
It came to the point I had to completely uninstall Hamachi, as my Mac would stall on 1 out of 4 shutdowns, and every 10 or so boots, would kernel panic.
I ahve had about 10 clients, including myself experience repeated kernel panics caused by the hamachi kext. Once uninstalled, all issue scease to exist. Are there any plans to address this known and repoducible issues? Anyone from LogmeIn out there? I'd love to hear that there is an update in the works, I'd be open to testing out a beta version as well if it is out there.
If this continues to not be addressed, we'll have to look for other reliable VPN solutions.
