Since Hamachi uses the 188.8.131.52/8 block to assign Hamachi IP addresses and routes all 184.108.40.206/8 traffic through the Hamachi interface, what are Logmein's plans for Hamachi once people start using 5.x.x.x addresses for real ?
That's not a large amount of the netblock being reclaimed so far, but since Hamachi sets up a route for the entire 5/8 it does mean that anyone assigned an IP address within that range will likely be invisible to any Hamachi users so I think we really do need an official statement from Logmein on what they are planning to do ASAP.
Hamachi needs to stop using 220.127.116.11.0/8 right away. The block will not be assigned to Hamachi. But Hamachi cannot only use IPv6; Because the programs and games that needs Hamachi, do not have support IPv6. The 18.104.22.168.0/8 was used instead of 10.0.0.0 to avoid conflicts with the local LAN. But now it gives conflicts with the Internet instead. The solution must be using another block instead. I will suggest these: 10.128.0.0/9: The upper half 10.0.0.0/8 is rarely used. 198.18.0.0/15: This block is reserved for "network benchmark tests". However the block might not be big enough.
