This is infuriating... 

What causes Win 7 to see a network as "unidentified" so that you can't make it private?

I understand it happens with certain network adapters if proper drivers aren't available... so is there something MS needs to release to fix it? or something LogMeIn needs to release? 

I, too, would prefer to not have to change the settings for all Public networks on my machines, but it seems to be the only persistent fix for this problem for the time being.
