Is Hamachi down?

When I try to turn on Hamachi, I get the error saying if has failed to connect to hamachi services and then seems to be stuck on connecting. Is this because I am a free user? Help.

EDIT: It says that there is a high volume of connection requests and says that it can't accept my connection when my friend has no problems at all. what gives?
