Network is full - Um. No its not

Hey all! Having a strange problem today. We had 12 computers on out hamachi network. Was trying to add another but it said the network is full. I thought the limit  was 15 (checked and it is) but just in case I evicted two other computers we dont use often and figured I would deal with them later. So now I have 10 computers on the network and I am still getting the network full error even when I try to add back in one of the computerrs I had just evicted.

ANy suggestions would be great.

Unfortuantely, it is now.

We recently changed our pricing model for Hamachi.  We added new licensing that is Network based.  So now, 8 members is the maximum on a free network, or a network created from the client.

" So now, 8 members is the maximum on a free networkor a network created from the client.  "

So if I pay , I still can only create a network with 8 memebers from the client? I would have that to be true. One fo the best things about hamachi is the ease of use. I dont want to get involved with having to go to a website . Its a simple click , click new network from the client. More steps != a better product.

You are correct; you need to pay, and use the site to create a network with more than 8 members.

It used to be 16 for the previous version, with the same rules.

Ok, thanks for the info. I do appreciate that you guys didnt truncate the members to 8 when you made the change. Thanks

So no one has problems that we are curtailed to 8 users?

At least the hamachi code could have displayed a new error message saying "due to corporate greed, we are now limiting free networks to 8 people"..

I just spent several days trying to find out why my freshly-formatted laptop would no longer connect to a few people's network. I was stupidly assuming that something that was given would not be taken away.

And now they have dropped the limit from 8 down to 5.  I've used Hamachi since it was first released, no more.

I've heard good things about Remobo (http://www.remobo.com/) anyone have any experience with it?

Oh, we also use a paid subscription to Hamachi at work...that will go away too once I determine a nice alternative.

I've been using hamach to host lan parties at my house with 16 computers, but now that is all shattered.  This really sucks.  5 computer limit? Really? Are you guys loosing that much money now days or trying to increase your profit base?  I use to recommend logmein to many small businesses, but now I will not till the limit changes.  By the way I was considering paying the monthly fee to start up a remote business, but the limits said broke a lot of my personal test labs which turned that idea into scrap metal.  Logmein you are limiting developers like me from growing into a business that would use your paid product.  Please take it off, so people like me can bring more revenue to you in the long run.

Thank you,

Roman
