Update glitch?

When I open Hamachi, It says Starting Hamachi, the Hamachi window then appears for about 5 seconds, then it disappears and says "Updatting Hamachi."

I'm stuck in this loop and just keeps doing that everytime I open Hamachi it does this over and over again.

I need help.

I am having the same problem, trying to uninstall Hamachi won't work, as Windows can't find hamachi-update.msi.

have you try to update hamachi by your self ? download new version and install it.

when system show up window with file to find ( hamachi.msi) open that path and paste there hamachi instaler files ( same as hamachi version instaled on pc)

Sadly, this doesn't want to work, and Windows keeps telling me that hamachi-update.msi isn't a valid installation package.

Same here ... forever stuck in update process without success.

I tried downloading the new version, but when running the installer it detects there is an old version and only propose an "update" ... which fail because it doesn't find the file "hamachi-update.msi"

There is a "hamachi-update" file in the folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\LogMeIn Hamachi

I tried renaming it to "hamachi-update.msi" but then the installer complains it is not a valid update file.

I noticed that the new downloaded intaller "hamachi.msi" and the "hamachi-update" present in the folder I described above are the same ... same size and if you try to rename the "hamachi-update" to "hamachi-update.msi" and execute it ... you'll have the same installer than the fresh new version ... (shame none of them work though)

Last, I tried uninstalling Hamachi alltogether, and guess what ... it says it can't find the file "hamachi-update" and doesn't let me uninstall... :(

Same problem here.  Installed version is 2.1.0.122.  Just getting constant updating Hamachi.  Cna't untinstall, same error as already listed.  Can't install new download, same errors as already listed.  If there a manual way to remove Hamachi?

you can try to make a 'HARD' remove of hamachi. delete file/dir from program files. not remove hamachi adapter from devicxe manager. remove system service as well. delete every file'dir's over document& settings/windows

run regidtry and search for every key 'logmein' & 'hamachi' and delete it.

reboot and try to install hamachi again.

it's more system issiue than a hamachi or hamachi instaler issiue

This seems to be a generic msi problem. Have you tried this? http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
