how to uninstall hamachi from ubuntu 12.04

I tried installing hamachi without installing lsb3.0 first.  It failed and I can't get it to work.  Now its locking up my synaptics package manager evertime i try to install or remove other packages.  first the "which user" for hamachi comes up which by default has "anonymous" in there and this comes up everytime i try to do anything in synaptics package manager.  after i reboot ubuntu its still does it.  I tried to install an older 0.9 version of hamachi thinking it would uninstall the newer version first and i think this is where i really screwed it up.

How can i remove it all?  is there an uninstall command?

Re: how to uninstall hamachi from ubuntu 12.04

So i was able to remove the latest version from ubuntu using the software center.  but i also see in software center version 0.9.9.9-20.  I try to remove and it gets halfway and quits.  How can i remove this older version?
