Re: RE: Error 1311. No Logon Servers Available?

I'm getting the same error.

I've got 22 users, all remote. They use a VPN client to establish Domain connectivity, although they only connect to the domain when in need of server based data.

All 22 laptops were cloned from the same Ghost image and are identical and locked down from user modification.

I can connect to 21 of the users via logmein, regardless of whether they're connected to the domain or not.

I used to connect to user 22 just fine. Then last week, I got this 1311 error.

No other errors are occuring on the laptop. I've removed and reinstalled logmein. Same error.

I'd spend $250 on a support call to MS, but I have a feeling that they'd claim it's a LogMeIn issue. I'd have to agree.

Re: Error 1311. No Logon Servers Available?

I experienced this same issue and found what I believe to be the cause.

I am the IT support for a company.  I had recently reformatted a users PC and reinstalled Windows.  After doing this I found I was unable to connect to that PC with LogMeIn.  Her computer was part of our company domain.

I believe the reason I was unable to access her PC (and got that particular message) was because I had not yet logged into her PC physically...as in my account and desktop had not been created.  I had never entered my credentials into her PC so it had no idea who I was.  I found that when I used her domain credentials to login everything went fine.

Hope this helps someone!
