Cannot Start Application

Using LogmeInRescue and am tryin to remore connect to a customer site and am getting the following message:

Cannot Start Application

Cannot Continue. The application is improperly formatted. Contact the application vendor for assistance.

This is when trying to remote connect via IE7. The end user gets this message if clicking on an email link or if going to www.logmein123.com and entering the pin.

Not come across this one before. Any ideas?

Not sure but it might be related to ActiveX if you have that set in the Admin Settings. I have the following settings unchecked so the client gets a standard Run/Save pop-up box instead of the sometimes complex ActiveX page:

Under Customer Applet - Running Mode
**UNCHECKED** Display Customer Applet download webpage
**UNCHECKED** Use ActiveX Customer Applet

Try unchecking both of these settings and see if you still get the issue.

Are these parameters to uncheck in IE > Tools > options or some where else.    I am having the same error and would like to try your suggestion.
