Prevent users from disabling LogMeIn

I am interested in any ideas how others in this community have prevented users from disabling LogMeIn.

I've stopped the logmeinsystray.exe from loading at startup, but am unable to prevent them from stopping and disabling the services. Local admin rights are needed by the end users, so that's not an option. I'm leaning toward a group policy but thought I'd start here first.  Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Re: Prevent users from disabling LogMeIn

Since they have local admin rights and know enough to find Windows Services Manager, you will be unable to prevent them from disabling LogMeIn.

What are you trying to accomplish?  If it is interactive support or training, then you need the user's cooperation.  If it is behind-the-scenes maintenance, there may be other ways to accomplish it.

Ok well there is policy settings which you could use i mean you could prevent them from being able to go into control panel or hide the administrative tools as you would need to see the option of enabling "only show specified control panel applets" and you might also want to disable the run feature if possible as they would be able to get to it through that and also task manager is a way of opening services and stopping services on the computer.
