Re: Blackberry Playbook Support

I recently purchased a Playbook. It is essential as part of my JOB to use Logmein to connect to my office computer. Do you have an app to do so? If so what is the name and wheere can I find ad it? If not when can I expect one To be available for download? Robert

Re: Blackberry Playbook Support

yes, please add PlayBook support.  i was quite disappointed that the browser engine did not work at all so an app is needed or alternately the browser support needs to work better on tablets without a supporting app.

I didnt want an iPad because the form factor is unweildy and inconvenient.  the Playbook has a much better form factor for business travel.

I just got a Playbook.  I can't get LogMeIn to work strait from the web browser.

Is there an Andriod side-loaded App that will work?

When will LogMeIn support the Blackberry Playbook?  We NEED this to work!

Re: Blackberry Playbook Support

Logmein works good on the playbook if you have a blackberry phone.  You can use blackberry bridge on the phone to use your phone as a remote control for your playbook. You can type with your phone and move the mouse around with the scroll-wheel, it works great

Re: Blackberry Playbook Support

Actually the best solution for the mouse and keyboard with playbook, is one of two solutions/suggestions:

1. You can of course buy from, shopblackberry.com a keyboard for the tablet;

Or:

2. The solution I currently employ, use your blackberry smartphone through the bridge application. Of course, for this method to work, you will need a blackberry device running OS 5 or later to be able to download the app, from app world, to your device (free produced by RIM). Sidenote, this comes pre-installed on the tablet. And the bridging is simple bluetooth pairing, or using your device to scan a barcode created by the tablet. Once this is completed, simply access the app (bridge) on the smartphone, and set the option to enabled for the device to act as a keyboard and mouse interface.

*. Extra sidenote: after you are done using your device as the keyboard/mouse input, and wish to return to tactile interface with the tablet; always, press the menu key (7-dot button), and choose disconnect, this will keep the bridge connected, but return input control back to the tablet.

Re: Blackberry Playbook Support

To The LogmeIn Dev team,

As a logmein user and small stockholder, I find it a little disturing that there is not a single response to the questions and plees posted by all these users.

I doublt anyone expects you to deliver a PB app, we just want to know if that's somehthing that is even on the table. I understand LM's potential hesitation of dedicating valueable resources to buidling for a platform that my not be around in the next few years (thoug let us hope not). So the question I pose is this:

If Reasearch In Motion pulls of their comeback in Q4, can we expect that LM will at least consider making a Ignition for QNX? If the the BB10 phones are fail to delive I don't blame you for a second for not wasting your time.

I see there are a few long time Ignition/LogMeIn/Hamachi users in this thread  -- so I am posing my tangential question to all of you:

Can I use Ignition for Android (ICS) to surf the web through Hamachi VPN-running on my home computer-with a broadband internet connection?

Re: Blackberry Playbook Support

I use my playbook to contol logmein all the time. You just need to use your bb phone with the bridge control as the mouse and it works like a charm.

"And the bridging is simple bluetooth pairing, or using your device to scan a barcode created by the tablet." I did not find the barcode you just mentioned.
