LogMeIn client for Palm Prē [ Edited ]

still no word?  :-(  Please beat out all the enevitable VNC apps that come out for WebOS! I love Logmein and have high hopes for an app.

In case you guys at Logmein haven't been keeping up with the latest Palm news, Palm has now released the Palm Pixi and will be releasing WebOS products to MANY more mobile phone companies in the coming months both nationally and internationally. If you manage to release this soon, you'll get on the ground floor of something truely great!

Still no news about a Logmein app for WebOS, so I'm gonna take it upon myself to keep you up to date on the latest and greatest in the wonderful world of WebOS:

1) There are now 2 WebOS phones (Pre and Pixi)
2) The operating system is becoming more solid by the day since they have released tons of updates since the Pre's original release. Still has the best multitasking of any mobile OS.
3) PDK will be released for WebOS which will enable C/C++ code to run on WebOS.
4) Palm Pre and Palm Pixi are still considered the flagship phones of Sprint
5) Palm Pre and Pixi were released in many countries throughout the world
6) Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus will be released on Verizon before the end of the month with 10's of millions of potential new users.
7) 3D Games are being released by major companies like EA for the Palm Pre. Hardware video rendering is becoming available.
8) There are only 2 remote log in apps for the Pre and both use proprietary unsecured servers
9) I believe WebOS will be the first mobile phone that will have Adobe Flash support. This in itself may or may not provide enough functionality to get Logmein working without any additional work. Most likely though it'll need some kind of interface for left click/right click/double click/etc. If this is the case, just put in a "mobile" option when connecting to Logmein with a few overlayed buttons.
9) I would do whatever I possibly can to assist in the development in this app if you are working on it. Coding, Alpha testing, Beta testing... whatever you want. (I know thats not specifically WebOS news, but its important)

Please! Logmein is pretty much the only thing I'm missing with my Palm Pre. I love the phone and love Logmein. If I had both, I'd be a very happy camper!

There's an app called RemoteWin and one called remote with VNC. Neither is a true VNC client and as far as I know, neither has any kind of security measures in place. I never got either to work and probably won't bother in hopes that a true VNC client or even better Logmein will be ported over to the Pre.

Oh Logmein, how you mock me! Been asking for a webos version for sooooo long, and I get this email from you titled "if its on your computer, its on your iphone"... so sad, so sad. No love for us webos users :(

With multiple Exchange accounts, the Pre solved a major issue I had. Please bring LogMeIn to the Pre!

I would also purchase a LMI application for WebOS, if it were available. I can not believe there is not one, at least in the beta phase yet.

yea, I'd be more than happy to beta test if they're working on an app. I wish LMI would let us know if they're working on an app.

I wish they release logmein apps for palm pre too. I tried many other remote pc on Palm Pre and the interface+function still buggy and not secure at all (someone has mention that). So, please release logmein client for Palm Pre + Android platform :D. Once again, thank you for all the hard work.
