Posting Guidelines - Please read before posting

Welcome to the LogMeIn Forums.

This section has a deliberately vague name so you can post any topics when you're not sure where they should go.

A couple of pointers:

If you have any comments/feedback about a specific LogMeIn product, then put your post in that product's section.

If you have any general feedback about the forums or our website, then please put your post in the Forum & Website section.
Bearing that in mind, if you're still not sure where to post, put it here and the moderators will move it to the relevant section.

Hey Andy:

Could you tell me if it is possible to delete your own post?  Several times I responded to a post, thought better about it, and then could not delete the post.  In these cases, I just replaced the text with >>, which is admittedly an inelegant solution.  I did notice that the delete my own post was not checked on the forum page.  How can you get that changed?

That's not currently possible, as you say, however, I am looking at a redesign of the forums at the moment - and I have asked for suggestions for consideration.
 
I will of course try to enable that feature, as it makes perfect sense, but it may take some time to have it done. The only thing I can find against it is in long threads where people discuss a post in depth, only to find the original post gone.
 
Can I just ask that you add your suggestion to the rather short list here: https://secure.logmein.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=9965&mpage=1&key=&#10003 Feel free to add as many ideas as you like while you're at it.

Hi Andy.  Ernest O'Dell here.  I'm new to the forum as I just downloaded the LogMeIn (free) software, only to be alarmed by my firewall and AV software that it caught several Trojans and viruses coming through.
 
Have you, or anyone else, had issues with Trojans and viruses coming through the network?
 
Luckily - like I said - they (the trojans and viruses) were caught and eradicated.  But I didn't know where to post this question, so I thought I would ask you guys.

P.S.  While I still have a "free" account, I have - nevertheless - removed the software from both the host and client computers.  I was hoping to be able to use this as I found the interface a lot more intuitive than the competitors.
