Can't access from Public Library?

The keyboards are NOT working from a local library.

And, obviously, they do not allow anything to download into their system.

RE: Can't access from Public Library?

I don't know what you mean about the keyboards are not working from the public library.  With just that information, all I can answer is that they library should fix them !?

To my knowledge, if you are at a computer and want to access your computer list from LMI, NO SOFTWARE has to be loaded onto that computer in front of you.  You bring up a web browser, and just visit another webpage.  Unless you are talking about the local computer not having active-x or java - but you can always switch to using HTML.

A Little bit more help about the keyboard may allow us to help you.

Not sure what you mean by Keyboards not working either.

Network Monitor is a stand alone download, but the same machines (IT REACH) should be able to be accessed from the LogMeIn web site.  If you are using Remotley Anywher, thank you PC's will have their own private address and ports for reaching them and depending on how they are configure you may not be able to reach them from a public terminal (netowrk port ranges would need to be opened).

If they prohibit you from using ActiveX or Java then there is not much you do or ask of LMI.  They have a produce Ignition that you can install onto your USB key and then attempt to run it from there.

Re: RE: Can't access from Public Library?

I have had this problem for a couple of years.  The local city and county libraries do not allow activex or java to be installed so there is no way to get to my options for LogMeIn to even change to HTML.  Also, the idea of using a key is probably not going to work.  I have a preference towards Firefox and I had Firefox Portable on my USB drive but they have also limited running any exe files.

Is there any other way other than accessing the settings for logmein before actually logging into the computer?

As it is, I have to change, at home, the settings for my WM6 device, then change to regular settings, when I get home to access from remote pcs, now change again to access at the library.

Any suggestions on this would be great.

Keep up the great work all!
