Indeed, Firefox 3.6 is available for MACOSX - thanks very much for the tip (then again, when checking for updates through the menu bar, nothing comes up...).

Back to this topic now: after upgrading to 3.6, LOGMEIN has been working flawlessly for the last couple of hours: it seems like the crash problem has been resolved.
