OSX 10.7.3 - Backspace sends "s" character

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, Google Chrome (latest) and logged in to OSX 10.7.3. Typing a Backspace character inserts an "s" at the end of the current text field. Can this get checked on?

Re: OSX 10.7.3 - Backspace sends "s" character

I can confirm that I am getting the same behavior.  I am using Windows 7 with the latest version of Google Chrome while logging remotely into an OSX 10.5.8 system (yes... it's an older machine).  Any chance we can get this fixed?  It's VERY annoying.

I am seeing the same behavior, running under windows 7-64 bit/chrome connecting to a mac running lion

(send a "s" for <TAB> too)

Please can we get this looked into?

Same here.

You can use CTRL+H though instead of backspace, that works.

Tab also sends 's' btw ...

Re: OSX 10.7.3 - Backspace sends "s" character

I am having the same issue connecting from a MacBook Pro to a Mac Mini Server. Both are running Lion - 10.7.4, although the Mini is running Server.

The one outstanding thing about the Mini is that it is set up with a Windows keyboard.

Re: OSX 10.7.3 - Backspace sends "s" character

Well...I've got the same issues and ctrl+h does nothing for me... The only way I can correct my screwups is to move the cursor and use the forward delete with Fn+Delete

Major bummer and real PIA :(
