Hey, I've downloaded and use this application at work. Then I downloaded this to my coworkers computer and installed the app on hers ipad. To test it we log in to her computer, but with my login credentials, it worked fine, so we tried logging in with her login credentials and then it could not connect. At work I have a super administrator user and she has a normal user. Why can't she log in to her computer from the app?
She has to be granted explicit permissions within the app on the host machine.
Go to the LogMeIn software on the host, click the "options" link, click "Preferences" click the security tab and the click "show details" under "User Access Control." Add her username in the form of "domain\username" in the "add user" blank. Click Add. Edit her permissions under "Edit Selected Users." Click OK and everything should work.
Hmmm... I only noticed that your were using the free version after I posted. May or may not work with the free version (please note that you posted this in the LMI pro forum. Sorry for any misinformation I may have given you.
