I think it is a little sad, because I just read up on all the RPAT stuff I could find on the net - and then the next day...well you know how this ends.
I really liked the idea about RPAT, but sad to see it get the EOL Notification. Lots of potential, but I hope they will make something similar in a couple of years.
(And while I'm at it: Intel just bought Mcafee for roughly 7 billion $) : I don't hope that they will integrate it into hardware - because Mcafee is like an asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping. (Read: Slow)
