Number Lock on laptops

Hi, not sure if its LMI rescue or not, but on two occations l have remoted to different laptops and the Number Lock has been set to ON at boot time, after i have finish the remote. I may have also rebooted the laptops during the remote.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard\InitialKeyboardIndicators

value =2 instead of 0

Is this LMI Rescue doing this or something else? As anybody else seen this?

Re: Number Lock on laptops

This was introduced with a recent "new feature":

Keyboard Synchronization

During a Remote Control session with a customer who is running the Calling Card, technicians can now use Keyboard Synchronization to ensure that typed text appears according to the selected keyboard's layout.
1.    On the Remote Control toolbar, click Keyboard Synchronization.
2.    Select Local or Remote depending on which computer's keyboard layout you want to use.

I guess it applies for num lock too.
