How do I get the background to not change?

I was wondering, how do I get teh background on the pc I'm monitoring to keep it's original picture and not change to a solid color background?

(I am going from memory here, so I might be off a little)

Start to log into the machine, and instead of hitting REMOTE CONTROL, hit PREFERENCES instead. Select the FIRST choice (I think it is either GENERAL or REMOTE CONTROL) and one of the options is to disable background. You will want to UNcheck this box.

Be aware that it will show a degradation in speed as it has much more information to send. If you really do not need to see the background, I would leave it shut off.

The other way to turn on all the bandwidth warping features at once, and without disconnecting, is to override the transmission once in the remote session by clicking (on the LMI menu bar) More > Network > High (instead of low or auto.)
