When LMI installs, It will look for a user ID and password that already exists in Windows. If one does not exist already, then LMI will prompt for an "Access Code" used to validate you when you try to remote in. If your Starter Edition does not a username and password yet, then it should default to a prompt asking you for an access code instead in which case there is no user name. Then when remoting in, you should have an option to "Show More Options" (or something close to that) where you can either log in with a username (even a domain if available) or the access code you have set.
