Please kindly let me know… We held a webinar today, and received a few comments from the audience. 1. Sound volume of an uploaded movie: When we played a movie (uploaded on GTW), the sound volume was OK on PC, but the sound was extremely small on iPhone. Why does the sound volume change depends on the device? Is there any way to deal with this problem from the organizer’s side? Or is it a system issue? 2. Watching a movie in the middle of a webinar: If someone join the webinar in the middle of a session, and a movie was playing… If on PC, you can watch from the middle of the movie, where it’s playing in real time; However, if on iPhone n(or other smart phones), the movie starts from the beginning, even though it’s already a half way through in real time. Therefore, when we move on to Q&A session after the movie, the movie stops in the middle for those who are watching on iPhone, If you need more explanation or clarification, please call me anytime. I have set up several reoccuring webinars. Some are monthly skipping only December. The calendar reminder saved them for every month even though I removed the December meeting before sending the invitation. Do I just have to cancel the meeting some other way? Hi, we recently signed-up for GoToWebinar, one of the main reasons being the Pardot connection. All went well, the webinars are easy to setup and the Pardot connector has been implemented successfully, we can sync GoToWebinar webinars in Pardot directly, collect registered users, attended and non-attendees. We face one big problem, still: more people from our organization use GoToWebinar for organizing webinars, that's why we created more users (using different email addresses to access their account/dashboards). Everyone created their webinars, but we are able to see in Pardot only the user connected via the connector (so we get in Pardot only the webinars created under only one user). The other webinars created by the additional users are not visible. Is there a way of getting in Pardot all the webinars, created by all users? As I see it, a GoToWebinar account can have more users. Can we get in Pardot the webinars created under all users? Or all webinars created under the main account? How do I create a link to the webinar recording for attendees? They have not saved their initial invitation to the webinar so can't use that link. I'm a co-organizer for these sessions, but do not have access to the password that would get me into the account where I could create a webinar, open a webinar, send the link to attendees, etc. My organization does not allow someone at my level to have access to the password but allows me to be a co-organizer. I've tried to create passwords on my own using links from invitations, but somethimes they work and sometimes they don't. We had a 3-day event. The survey was scheduled to be sent with the follow-up email, two hours after the event ended. The survey results are spread over three reports; I have to run a survey report for each event day to collect all the answers. Why is this? It was an all-or-nothing registration; all registrants would have been registered for the three-day event. I will have two Panelists in the Webinar with me - one of them is the Presenter, the other Panelist is a technical person to help with a the Q&A session at the end of the webinar. I believe I will be the only person who can see the delegate questions that are coming in. What I would like to do is assign the questions to my technical person to review. He will then assign on to the Presenter to address the question verbally in the session. Hi GoToWebinar, We noticed an issue with our connection between GoToWebinar and Eloqua - we have recently been using this integration more, but realized that we are not able to make the connection with webinars that are over 1 year old. It seems that the issue is related to the webinar ID - after 365 days, the ID changes from the standard 9-digit format to a 12-digit format. When looking at the main webinar page is shows the new 12-digit ID but when I click on the registration details, it still shows the original ID. For example, a webinar we held on2019-07-10 shows "-20-207-272-593-0" on the webinar page and727-259-307 in the registration report. We were previously able to get attendee data from this webinar into Eloqua, but after the 10th we lost the connection. Are you familiar with this, and is there a way around it. Also, is there a contact email we can use for questions about connections between GoToWebinar and Eloqua/other 3rd party platforms? Hello GoToWebinar, I have recently been having trouble with the After Session Video feature. After doing a live session, we often want to edit the recording before making it available through this. Many of our webinars are multi-session (we typically repeat the live webinar 2-3 times in a day to cover all regions globally), and it seems that the default for a multi-session webinar is to only link the latest version (in this case, the last one in the day). Since this is not always the best presentation, I have started downloading, renaming, and re-uploading the version we want to use. Today I tried linking the "new" version of the webinar in the After Session Video section - it shows up correctly in the webinar page, but when you register and go to the webinar, it is still showing the wrong version. Example: - Webinar ID250-803-027 - After-session video name: ON DEMAND The importance of rRNA removal for RNA-seq... (length: 1:05:48) - Video that actually shows after registering:The importance of rRNA removal for RNA-seq applications... (length: 53:24) - This is the recording from the second session of the day. We are conducting webinars using GoToWebinar - Lite Plan and after registration attendees are getting an email to join the webinar all of them are getting invite with global.gotowebinar.com/XXXXXXX and when they click on this it redirects to app.gotowebinar.com/XXXXXXX that take them to join from browser. We have put on mute all the attendees by default and unmute them at the end of the webinar for open Q&A session, people those joined from browser neither we nor attendees can unmute them, We are very much frustrated why its forcing everyone to join from the browser while Organizers and Panelists can join from Desktop App. We have requested everyone to install a desktop app and try, still, it is not opening in-app by default. It's ruining our webinar objective and people are giving very bad feedback. We called customer support and he was not able to help us and said it's beyond his control. and When we try to join the webinar with the same link (attendees getting on their email), it's opening in the browser only however I have GoToWebinar Desktop installed on my machine. We have a yearly webinar start subscription, which is designed for 100 people, next month we need a Pro subscription, but only for one month, since the webinar is planned and more than 100 people are going to come to it, maybe about 300. I called Technical Support, where they suggested that I create a new user on my account, add him a Pro license for a month, then call tech support and ask to transfer the meeting from one subscription to another, and they said that the link to the webinar will not change. The problem is that we have open registration and a lot of people have already registered. I used the auto-transcription feature to create a text version of the webinar audio. We need to share the webinar recording via our YouTube page. I'm not clear how to USE the G2W transcription. I see that I can copy/paste, which results in a transcript with a time code followed by text on the next line. But that doesn't seem to be the SRT type file YouTube wants. Hi, We have had a situation where a webinar attracted som much interest that outpassed our atendees limit and made the speakers unable to join in. In order to avoid that from happening again we started to use the "Practice mode", but that forces us to grant them "Co-organizers status" wich in turn, makes it possible for them to accidentally end the meetings.... and they have done that twice already.... :smileysad: As you might guess, we hardly have recurring speakers, so hardly any speaker gets to grow savvy enough with GTW. We actually perform a training session a couple of days prior to every webinar, but even then these mistakes are happening.... Is there any better way we could do this? If not, is there any chance this could be addressed in an update rather soon than later? Thanks. Hi, 1. I wanted to know that once the live webinar is over, Do we get an email notification when the recording for it is saved in the video library? We will have webinars for about 1 hour long, Going through the documentation I see it would take 1 hour to process it. But I do not want my program manager to login back and forth just to check the recording is complete. 2. USE CASE: I wanted to create an on demand Simu live event as soon as my live event is over. For that i will require this recording. Is there any way I can link the two different events (live and simu live event) together. Hello, Can you join a webinar using your internet browser only? I have seen that when joinig a GoToWebinar one can join just by clicking on the Join button in the invitation, without a need to download the GoToOpener app. How to do this? When I set up my webinar, I enabled the After Session Video in the Registration section of the set-up page. However, after my webinar ended yesterday, registrants were not automatically sent to the video as indicated on the set-up page. Attendees were not sent the video, either. Why doesn't this work? I'm assuming this feature is different than the video that can be sent in the follow-up e-mail, because that function is set up in the E-Mails section of set-up page, not the Registration section.
