Need old installer for XP
I have 7 host computers that must run Windows XP (proprietary POS only works on XP for now). Logmein is working fine on these computer still (host software v4.1.0.9498) but I need to replace one of the computers and the current Logmein installer won't install on XP. Of course, Tech Supt was no help. Does anyone have an older installer. I'm convinced that if I can get it installed, it will work.
So it turns out, there were 2 installers - one for XP service pack 2 and XP service pack 3. A friend just tried installing the SP2 installer on SP3 and it didn't work. The SP3 installer did work. FYI.

Like others I am badly in need of the old Logmein installer for Wndows XP which you have made available on Dropbox. I do hope you will agree to share this: I may need to reformat and reinstall win xp on my old pc - it needs to be win xp as several of my programs won't run on later versions of Windows and I need remote access to it.

- I have an installer that worked under Vista. It did install under XP SP2, but does not work under XP SP2 giving an error that may indicate that it requires SP3. The error says: "The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll" and may disappear in SP3. I can email it to you. I still need SP2 version for myself.

Hey does anyone have that XP installer. Need it for a machine.
Contact LogMeIn support. I have made the old installer available to them and pleaded with them to make it available on their site or at least when people contact. They ignored me. I cannot continue to do their job for them. Maybe if enough of you scream loud enough to become the proverbial squeaky wheel, they will stop ignoring us.
Better yet, do what I did. Switch to Lite Manager. I like it better, it’s free for most of you, and it works great on XP.
