GoToAssist unattended Mac showing offline

I'm trying to install the unattended package on MacOS.

I download the unattended PKG file from our console.
I install on the Mac. Install seems to go fine, and I give permissions where needed.

Console icon in top right shows 'offline' and the computer never shows in our list of 'unattended devices'.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've done this many times before, and it has worked fine.

Please help.

Thank you. From talking to others about this, the last part of the Unattended install involves the software registering with our server and the device being added to the device list. Since you do not see the device listed at all the install must failed for some reason.

I would suggest uninstalling (click on the icon in the tool bar > Uninstall), reboot and try the installer again. If the same thing happens again please call our toll-free support

I have rebooted several times, but it doesn't seem to help.

Anything else I can check? I do appreciate the help.

The new Mac Security and Privacy settings shouldn't prevent the software from connecting to our servers, and since you have other unattended computers online the network firewall doesn't appear to be the issue either. I suspect that maybe the daemon hasn't started automatically after the install, rebooting the Mac should correct that.

  • Hi javeryt, welcome to the community.

Are there any other Unattended computers already on this network and showing as Online?
