Hello LogMeIn Community members!

 

I am very excited to announce that we will soon be relaunching the LogMeIn Community! We will be expanding the number of product communities we support here and creating a new experience for you to enjoy. We hope the redesign will make it easier for you to find the answers you need and to get the most out of LogMeIn’s products and services.

Dear LogMeIn Community Members,

 

I am very excited to announce that we will soon be updating the LogMeIn Community with a fresh design for you to enjoy! We hope this move will make it easier for you to find the answers you need and get the most out of LogMeIn’s products and services.

 

What is changing?

  • An updated experience: We’ve got a fresh look planned that is aligned with the LogMeIn brand, and we reorganized our product communities to make it easier to find the help that you need.
  • Let’s get mobile: our new design is responsive so you can get help on the go - from your tablet, phone or desktop device!
  • More product communities: We are expanding the number of product communities for you to engage in here by adding our GoTo product forums to the LogMeIn Community.
  • New avatars: All existing users’ avatars will be reset to the default avatar, so you will need to choose a new one. Have fun identifying yourself in the community with our updated collections!

 

How do I access the new community?

If you are a current LogMeIn Community member, you don’t need to change a thing. Your current username and login credentials will still work in the updated LogMeIn Community.

 

What happens to my posts?

No need to worry! All of your content stays with you in the updated LogMeIn Community. Your posts, kudos and solutions will still be yours after the update.

 

What happens to my rank?

In the past, a lot of our members have had trouble getting recognized for their contributions to the LogMeIn Community, so we fixed a lot of the problems we had with our community ranking system. After the update, you may remain in the same rank, or be reassigned according to the new system. This change should enable you to be properly recognized for your posts, kudos, and solutions over time.

 

What should I expect during the update?

On the day of the update, the LogMeIn Community will go into “Maintenance Mode” and you will not be able to access the LogMeIn Community until the update is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your patience in advance.

 

When is this happening?

The LogMeIn Community will be updated in the coming weeks. You will see the “Under Maintenance” page if you visit the community during the update.

 

How can I help?

We are looking for community members who would be willing to step up and assist us in making the transition as easy as possible for our members.

 

We are looking for members who can:

  1. Give us feedback on the experience so far - what is working, what is not, and what you are hearing from members.
  2. Welcome new users - say hi and help them get used to the new community
  3. Thank members for great content - give kudos, say thank you, any way you can show our members that their helpful posts are appreciated!

 

If you are interested in making the LogMeIn Community an amazing experience, please private message me! We really need your help to make the LogMeIn Community an amazing place for customers to get their answers quickly and connect with each other in meaningful ways!
