GoToAssist Customer - Disable unattended support via GPO?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to see if it is possible to disable the unattended support option via GPO and keep users from turning it back on. Or if there is a different way to disable it? We want to make sure none of our agents can try and connect to a computer unless the end-user is there to launch the client and get the support key.

Currently we are using fastsupport.com but sometimes it doesn't work for whatever reason so we push out the customer client and remote in just fine with that and then remove it at the end of the session.

Thanks for the help.

Re: GoToAssist Customer - Disable unattended support via GPO?

@CalebDK  Sorry about the issues connecting through Fastsupport.com.

There is a new RescueAssist client access point that may be easier to use if you are interested in beta testing:  https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/7873094085613345026

With regards to restricting Unattended Access, you could create a Device Group that you can add any Unattended Clients to, and then do not add any users.

Alternatively, you may turn Access unattended computers and installers off in User and/or Group settings, or simply have each client disable Unattended from their own consoles.

@CalebDK Your clients can also block Unattended access by right-clicking the icon in their system tray, then allow it again when they need it: https://support.logmeininc.com/gotoassist-remote-support/help/block-or-remove-unattended-access-g2ar...
