Any current way to display a user facing custom Incident field as a multi-line text box?

I'm sorry, multi-line incident fields isn't possible at this time.
One workaround might be to sync the customer portal or other input method with the email address assigned to create Service Desk incidents. The title of the email received becomes the incident title, and the body becomes the incident body. There isn't a character max in the body that I'm currently aware of.
