Certificate cannot be confirmed or is invalid

Gotomeeting works fine on several PCs in our company. Nevertheless we have a Windows 7 machine where I always get the error message that the certificate cannot be found or is invalid. Here ist the (German) error message:

The message appears shortly before the progress bar of the GoToOpener reaches the end.

 

What can I do to make Gotomeeting work on this machine?

Hi @ehbMat

Do you know if GoToMeeting used to launch successfully on the affected Win7 machine?

If not, have you tested a newly created user account on that system to see if there's been a corruption previously?

It's the first time that we try to get GotoMeeting running on this machine. We have a centralized account system instead of local accounts. It's close to impossible for me to get the administration to create a dummy account in our system. So unfortunately I can't make that test.

Is there some link, timeout or date problem I can lookout for?

The best I can suggest would be the alternative to GoToMeeting desktop apps, by using a web browser instead:  https://support.goto.com/meeting/help/what-is-the-web-app-g2m090016
