I'm surprised the download feature for meeting recordings is a system-wide setting. GoToMeeting has groups and user-level settings so it seems like a no-brainer that an admin for an enterprise should be able to control who can and cannot download cloud recordings. But for some reason this setting sits at the enterprise level and applies to all users.
Is the ability to grant download permissions on a per-user basis on the product roadmap anywhere and if so, when might we expect to see it? Currently, we "control" this feature by literally turning it on and off briefly when an authorized user needs to download. That is a verifiable kludge and not something I'd expect to enounter. When we do this, it's a lot of busywork and we end up opening the feature occasionally to a lot of users who shouldn't have access. Not even remotely ideal.
