I'm actually trying to install the GotoMeeting app on a Xendesktop server.
Everything went fine installing the application and the goto opener, but when trying to join a meeting as a normal user, the application is trying to update herself ( even using the G2MPERFORMAVC=false ). This wont work as the users does not have the rights to do it.
Is there a way to remove this update ? Or what is the best practive in this situation ?
Thanks for your help
Typically an organization using Xendesktop would have a corporate account with us, where the software versions are temporarily set in place to reduce any system requests for an upgrade. However if they have to join other company's GoToMeeting broadcasts that have a newer version installed, then the system will attempt to match the versions in order to prepare for any new functionalities added since the last release.
Have you considered having these users utilize the Web App instead of the desktop app? https://support.goto.com/meeting/help/what-is-the-web-app-g2m090016
Thanks for the answer.
The thing is that we dont need to host gotomeeting meetings as my client choosed an another solution. There are just looking to join other compagny ones as you said.
We considered the Web App but our client want to use Firefox, and it seems like it does not work with Firefox right ?
