Issues with 'Names Displaying' and 'Shortcuts' on Windows

Hello,

Having two key issues on a conference call, I am joining and any help would be much appreciated:

(1) For some people in the call, all the names are being displayed as just a number (1,2,.. 15, etc.) rather than the name they created upon joining the conference session.

(2) The drop down on the conference call has a link to shortcuts (Eg. Alt + L to display the people list, unfortuantly non of the shortcuts work when I try to use them durring a call.

To answer your questions fully we may need some more info about the set up there.  

1. Are these attendees calling in early and perhaps not entering their designated PIN, that's shown in the audio section of their GoToMeeting control panel? 
2. If none of the function shortcuts are working properly can you tell us about the hardware involved for the computer, keyboard, and monitor?  Also, have you rebooted the affected device since first testing GoToMeeting there?

The attendees, including myself have never used a pin. We are purely using a URL link that opens the video call right away. However, it does always request a name, which is why it is odd that some people cant see the names.

For the shortcuts, I am using my laptop and just the standard web based functionality, have not downloaded anything.

OK, make sure that Attendees who are showing as number representations are able to manipulate the GoToMeeting interface to update their name.

In order to use most of the shortcut actions you would need to install the application itself.  Try using the desktop app instead of the web app next time.
