Hi.
Could you explain.
The first year (2017) of subscribing GoToMeeting was in dollars (excluding TAX) - OK.
The second year (2018) of subscription was in dollars (with TAX 18%) - worse, but OK.
But the third year (2019) of subscription, the same amount (also with TAX, but already 20%) but not in dollars, in euros.
Why? 🙂 And what will be the subscription this year (2020)? 🙂
Hi Anton,
You should see the same price renewing again unless the EU changes the tax rates for SAS companies there.
Hi!
With tax rates it’s clear, but the question was different.
For two years, the payment was in $, and the third year (the same amount!) was paid in EUR.
If payment is made in EUR, the amount should be less due to the exchange rate. No? 🙂
Please check invoice 101960995 (July 11, 2017), 126855176 (July 11, 2018), 158658151 (July 12, 2019).
I'm sorry we do not account for exchange rate differences very regularly, so there is no automatic equalization on any regular basis.
Hi,
Sorry, but I don't understand.
My subscription costs 348 $.
The first year I pay 348 $, the next year I pay 410.64 $ (tax 18% - ok). The third year I pay 417.60 (20% tax - ok) but EUR (!!!).
Why? Why in EUR but the same cost?
I think this is not normal.
Maybe this year I will have to pay in GBP, is it more expensive ?! 🙂
If you cannot equalization automatically, do it manually. This year, I still want to pay in $ (as my subscription cost) and with a discount (for the third year costs).
And in general, why my subscription costs $ 348, although on your site a subscription (Business!!!) now costs $ 171.96 per year!
While we don't bill in every currency, the system will try to bill in your local currency, based upon the billing address itself.
